moon spinners
twins
Post date: May, 03 2011
I feel like I've just given birth to twins (though my friends who have gone through labor with two real baby twins may beg to differ!). TWO books out today. The Wedding Shawl, and Moon Spinners (new in paperback). Thank you readers--without your support they would simply be a bunch of words relegated to a nameless folder on my computer.

March madness

My husband and I are an odd couple. I am mesmerized by college basketball. And he...not so much. But what a patient man. He lets me have my fun — and he knows that April will bring sanity back to our family.
And May...May will bring The Wedding Shawl to bookstores and e-readers. Someone is getting married in the new Seaside Knitters mystery. Do you know who?

Sweet Potato Soup
Post date: Aug, 09 2010
I've finally put together the recipe for Nell's Sweet Potato soup (here it is, Jill!). It's a very tasty soup and welcomes creativity--less spice or more spice, whatever vegies that are fresh, etc. It also freezes well and tastes even better the day after you make it.moon

FIrst a weather report....Sunny and warm on Cape Ann. HUMID and rainy in Kansas City. After a very active fourth of July the kids are worn out and adults trying to catch up on emails, writing, and other things.
I received cover copy for the next Saside Knitters mystery (November, 2010)--A Holiday Yarn--and I think the artist did a lovely job so I wanted to share it with you. Hope you like it, too.
Happy week to all.
