Dead Fish Hat
Cass Halloran knit these hats for her brother Pete's band, the Fractured Fish (Moon Spinners). And in A Holiday Yarn, the Cape Ann band wears them when they play holiday music for the town of Sea Harbor. Photos of the hats, created by Thelma Egberts can be found here. You can also download the pattern pdf below.
MaryAnn Sines knit up the pattern and shared this photo. Thank you, MaryAnn! And read on for another reader's photos.
I just received these photos from another wonderful reader--and knitter, as the photos prove. Pat is clearly a fish hat convert. Here's what she wrote:
"Well...I never had so much fun knitting anything as I have with the "dead fish hat." It started out for a grandsom and ended up as a 60th birthday gift for an avid ice fisherman. I have orders for 3 more and am making these crazy hats for Christmas gifts. The great grandson is at the top of the list." Pat Habinck
Seaside Knitters knitting patterns
I hope you enjoy spending some time admiring the Seaside Knitters patterns and finished products posted here. Perhaps they'll inspire you to try one or two on your own. I've also included some photos of finished Seaside Knitters sweaters, shawls, and hats knit by readers. Such talent! Izzy, Nell, Cass and Birdie would love to have each of them drop in the shop some day.
If you have any photos of patterns mentioned in the Seaside Knitters mystery series and wouldn't mind me posting them, please send them along!
